Tuesday, May 17th marked the day when the Ripley and Skaneateles Libraries won their respective votes by 67%. Our campaigns for both of these libraries were clearly successful. Ripley will become a library district serving the same population as the local school district with a base budget of $85,000. Skaneateles did a school district funding ballot and was successful in its ask of $350,000. This is the first time Skaneateles asked the public for any community-based funding in its 125 year history.
